Day 1
I have never been on a plane, never even been close to one before.
Today I got to ride not one, but two planes.
First pane went from Copenhagen to Zürich, Then from Zürich to Madrid.
I did not handle the flights very well. I was dizzy and felt sick - Landing and taking off was not really that exciting though, Being 11 km over the sea did however. I somehow found my self unable to breathe normally - I had to Think "Breathe" to get air... Not ideal.
No sleep was gotten that day.
When we got to Madrid we wandered around a bit like a pair of lemmings. Then we hopped onto a Taxi and got to our Hostel.
We got directed to a restuant that was in partnership with our hostel. We ordered their Daily speacial offer "Baby Lamb" Sounds delicious and nothing too fancy.
What we got was Baby lamb, AND a bowl of Octopuss..... WAT?!
We tried to eat as much as we could (only nibbiling at the octopuss though) Not really that hungry due to all the flight and travel...
And that concludes day one.
Day 2.
Today we got lost in Madrid. Looked around the city and was surprised by how many guards and police forces there was present, never have we seen that many officers. There were even armoured police vans going about, and loads of volentary citizens who dressed in bright green "helper" shirts.
We ate at MC-Donalds instead of something too fancy, like yesterday.
Turns out their soft-drinks taste a bit like soap, or Chlorine. Which is awfull. We suspect the ice-cubes, that have been made from tap-water, Which is notoriously bad in the southern Europe. (at least for someone from north it is. Don't drink their water if you are from another country. It can be toxic/weakening for you to do.)
Other than that, we have been trying to rest up.
We are very excited about going to work! Never before have we looked forward to a monday. XD
(PS: I don't think I will do these days for every day, but I will when I am bored, like now.

)
DAY 4
I went to work today!
Going to start as an "in-betweener" drawing the same stuff over and over again.
It is good to learn the basics first, even though I am not a 2-D animator, and never will be

I will still do my best to follow their work flow, and be as productive as I can.
Later on, I will be moved to the background artists, to assist there.
There are only three people that know english, and none of them very good.
One is the background artist, I have not spoken to her yet, but we did get introduced, so I know she can english.
The other is an animator, and he is okay-ish at it.
The last is another intern, who knows it the best, he also is the guy helping me getting started. He is by far the best in english, but still kinda "meh" XD ( I do know what they are saying

)
Kinda funny, as soon as the boss and director left, the people there set up computers to play Call Of Duty II XD
But they are prized animators, and have won a decent number of awards, so they must know they have time to relax.... XD
So jealous of my classmate here!
Day 13:
Been tolling about on my story board for the last three days, started the board last friday.
Also did a Character sheet for all of the actors in the animation, to be.
Along with three pages of non-work related sketches, and a commission.
Although, It is kinda hard to digitally paint here, as there are no real tables big enough for my laptop, and Intous. :C
But I will make do.
It is getting hotter too. But I work in a basement, so every time I am off af half six, I go up to the street and I am like:
"Wheeew.... Hot. " *Sleeves up*
I have had no time to Write on Lizaes story. And what I did was re-writing the first chapter, and so on, to be more Brutal and better described.
So yeah. : D
Day 19, or was it 20? ... XD
Made this teaser/first animation in my project.
[link]Great help from People here at work.
I have learned a lot about character expressions, Movement and flow.
Also I feel i have attained a better attitude for working intensely.
